Module 9: Presenting and Selling Value Part 2

Activity 6 of 11

Factory case

Bangla is being improved for factory-floor accuracy and native wording. It will return once the review is complete. English is available now.

A senior manager's buyer demanded a 6% FOB reduction, citing a cheaper competitor. Instead of refusing, the manager shared a transparent cost build-up and offered two trade-offs: a 3% reduction for a 15% increase in order quantity, or full price with 60-day payment terms.

The buyer chose the volume option because it reduced their per-piece logistics cost, and the factory protected its margin per line.
