MES

Overview

A manufacturing execution system (MES) coordinates and records factory work between enterprise planning and shop-floor operations. In garment production it can release orders, capture bundle or unit progress, record labour and machine events, manage work-in-progress and provide traceable production performance.

Applications

• •Dispatch operations and priorities to cutting, sewing, finishing and packing areas.
• •Capture quantities, defects, downtime, labour and work-in-progress close to the point of work.
• •Return actual consumption, completion and performance data to planning and ERP systems.
