Overview
3D body scanning captures a person's external surface to produce a point cloud or mesh from which body dimensions and shape information can be derived. Apparel teams use aggregated scans for sizing research and individual scans for made-to-measure workflows, subject to measurement validation, posture control and privacy safeguards.
