Future-state process design

Concept
Future-state design integrates selected solutions into a coherent flow, information system, standard work, ownership, and control concept.
Define sequence, roles, handoffs, WIP, pull signals, quality at source, data capture, escalation, maintenance, training, and transition requirements.
Design for the exception path, not only the ideal path.
Garment-factory example
Redesign cut-panel release with bundle identity, shade controls, WIP limits, first-piece approval, and digital exception alerts.
