Module 2: Introduction

Activity 5 of 11

Core concept

Bangla is being improved for factory-floor accuracy and native wording. It will return once the review is complete. English is available now.

An export order is a chain of eight stages: enquiry, feasibility and costing, PP approval, material in-house, production planning, in-line and final quality, shipment, and post-order review.

Each stage is fast on its own; the losses appear at the hand-offs between merchandising, planning, production and quality. Managing the hand-offs is the core skill of this programme.
